The Summer Camp held by the two schools from Denmark and China is over. It is part of the program of communication and cooperation joined by the two schools. Stovring Gymnasium(school) in Denmark sent a delegation of three teachers and five students while we picked out three small classes of students from my school. Though at the very beginning our students found it a little hard to communicate with their foreign teachers, they got used to it very soon. Normally Chinese students are relatively reserved and not good at expressing themselves, but the Danish teachers think highly of their performances. Well, for the students, maybe they cannot learn a great deal from their Danish teachers, but it is really a precious opportunity to communicate and approach another different culture. Besides, it's also a very good chance for me to practise English. From the very occasion of meeting them at Shanghai Pudong Internaional Airport to the farewell at Captain Hostel in Shanghai, I have been their guide and cooperation teacher all the way, so I have got so many chances to talk to them in English and build up the friendship with them.
